For the twenty years prior to joining Where There’s Smoke I was a brand and strategy planning specialist at some of the UK’s most successful ad agencies.
During this time I worked for a great list of agencies including HHCL, BBH and BMP, where bringing business changing ideas to life was more the goal than just making another ad execution.
In this time I also worked on an enormous range of categories and clients – from Mastercard, Coca Cola and Skandia Investment Group through to FIFA, Schweppes and an impressive range of beers and lagers. I even turned my hand to mobile phone retailing with People’s Phone, back when phones didn’t exactly fit in a pocket.
I now bring my love of finding new perspectives and business growing ideas to our client’s challenges at Where There’s Smoke, which I joined in 2011.
David has led a large number of business and product innovation projects as well as developing many new brand propositions, focusing on new areas of growth for clients.
